Rastelli has been involved in the local music scene since the 1980s. He runs the ARCMTL archive centre and DJs their CKUT show, Montreal Sound Ark. As a historian, he’s been researching the history of Montreal nightlife intensively for several years for exhibit and book projects, and has closely followed the issue of noise complaints since the days of Green Room and Divan Orange.
