Mappe Of

Mappe Of is the immersive project of multi-disciplinary, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Tom Meikle, known for his modern folk music. His compositions often explore themes of nature, spiritual realms, and fragmented narratives, featuring arrangements that blend classical music with intricate fingerpicking, experimental percussion, synths, and lush vocals. He gained recognition for his debut album, ‘A Northern Star, A Perfect Stone’, released in 2017, which established him as a creative and experimental force in the avant-folk genre. He followed this success with the 2019 full-length album, ‘The Isle of Ailynn’, which further expanded his acclaimed sonic landscape. In 2025, Mappe Of’s new music reflects a return to his early work, combining elements of folk, alternative, indie, post-rock, and electronica.
