Marie Serreau céramique

Montréal

Training finished in 2002, Marie Serreau traveled to meet ceramists (France, Quebec, Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali). She opened her first workshop in Montreal in 20025 then in France in 2006. In 2012, she continued her creative work in Quebec and settled in Pointe-Saint-Charles. Since then she has been working with Quebec clay for its flexibility and color, and its provenance. Marie Serreau creates original, delicate, and smiling ceramics. Her thrown pieces are decorated by hand, with a brush, then engraved, revealing a refined decoration. Although each piece is unique, they all belong to the same recognizable family. A very free and spontaneous work! Quebec clay, thrown and decorated in Pointe-Saint-Charles!
