Mario2 is a band who didn’t spend years perfecting their sound. Luigi (Simon Angell), Princesse (Karolanne Carbonneau), and Toad (Antoine Corriveau) wrote, arranged, and finalized their only LP in one afternoon, then recorded it in three days. Drawing from “normal bands,” their music is an ambitious buffet—unfiltered, unnecessary, and wildly specific.
