Mi_Animale_

Montreal

I’m Michelle (aka Misha), the hands behind Mi Animale. I create jewelry in sterling silver and mostly pearls (and other stones too), mixing a little bit of punk with a touch of class. My pieces are all handmade – raw, intentional, and a little rebellious – inspired by contrasts I see in people and in myself. Before becoming a jeweller, I spent over a decade working in HR and organizational development. Crafting jewelry started as a way to reconnect with my creativity and my hands, and it slowly became my favorite form of expression. I’ve set up a beautiful studio in my space and work directly out of Montreal with all steps from the pellets of silver to the final product completed by me. Mi Animale means ‘half animal’ in French – a reminder of our different identities and that we’re part animal at our core. And mostly, to stay close to our instinct, to what feels real and alive. Each piece I make carries that energy: bold but soft, imperfect but timeless.
