Modevile

Modevile is a three piece pop-shoegaze group based in Hull, QC. All members have years of experience in the Gatineau/Ottawa music scene performing in indie folk, indie rock, post-rock and post-hardcore. With Colleen on the bass and voice, Maude on the guitar and voice and Simon on the drums, Modevile is an epic trio. Modevile's performance takes you though a journey of heaps and valleys, from emotional dream-pop to energy releasing, booming drums and distorted guitar shoegaze and post-rock adjacent tones, back to spacey indie rock, in a minimalist fashion. In Modevile, you can hear influences from Maude and Simon's post-hardcore past while staying true to their other connections ranging from folk, indie, post-rock to psychedelic rock. Colleen and Maude’s voices together blend smooth like butter. Modevile is dream pop, indie rock, heavy in emotion, and touches your soul.
