A Palestinian filmmaker, video artist, film programmer and film editor from Jordan, currently based in Tio’tia:ke (Montréal). ElKhairy holds a MFA in Studio Arts: Film Production at Concordia University. His work has been shown in several international film festivals and art galleries.
His experimental fiction and non-fiction video works are particularly concerned with the legacies of colonial, political and economic power; How these forces play out in the lives of individuals, and how the lives of individuals reflect larger social, cultural and political dimensions.
