Naïka Champaïgne
Naïka Champaïgne began her musical journey by attending the Joseph-François Perrault musical high school in Montreal, where she received classical training in clarinet and saxophone. Her passion for music intensified when she began composing original songs within the walls of this school. Soon after, she formed a band called Strange Froots with her bandmate Mags, where they create chill, alternative soul music.
Her sonic universe spans rock, folk, neo-soul, jazz, blues, R&B and hip-hop, with stories and images that led to her first solo album, “Painted Imageries”. Music has always been a way for her to share, learn, live and exist fully. Her second solo album ”Purple N Blue” is going to be released later this year.
