Stitchin

My name is Cynthia Roukoss, passionate embroiderer. Eight years ago, while working in the field of biochemistry, I discovered embroidery as a creative outlet. This activity gave me a space to slow down, observe the world differently and relieve the stress of everyday life. Since then, embroidery has become a true passion that I share with others through workshops. In 2021, when I moved to Montreal, I was inspired by the artistic energy of this city. This pushed me to create unique pieces, combining style and artisanal precision.

My work with flowers remains a major source of inspiration, which I translate into delicate threads on each item I create. From tote bags, to coasters, napkins and baby laundry bags, each is hand embroidered and designed in high quality fabrics. The baby bag, for example, is a practical and stylish essential, perfect for keeping underwear organized when traveling, at daycare or during days away from home.

This year, it is with immense joy that I wish to participate for the second time at Puces Pop. My first participation was a real success and one of the best experiences I have had in Montreal so far. The warm welcome, the enriching exchanges and the support of the community reinforced my passion for crafts. Participating again represents for me the opportunity to continue to fully integrate into this community of talented artisans, who, like me, appreciate handmade work and a love of beautiful things.
