Studio Clay Leaves
I'm a Montreal-based ceramic artist and the maker behind Studio Clay Leaves. What began nearly a decade ago as a quiet hobby—pairing pottery with a growing love of houseplants—has since evolved into a deeper exploration of form, texture, and the beauty of everyday objects.
With a background in architecture, I’m drawn to clean lines, intentional design, and the functional side of ceramics. I often work with tape resist and sgraffito carving to create subtle texture and dimension, balancing structure with softness.
My work is inspired by the natural world—especially botanical forms and earthy tones—but always filtered through a design lens. Every piece is handmade, rooted in slow process and thoughtful simplicity. I believe there’s something deeply satisfying about shaping raw clay into something useful, beautiful, and lasting.
Studio Clay Leaves is where my love of nature and design come together—in quiet, functional ceramics meant to be held, used, and enjoyed.
