Tendre Atelier

My work is part of the large family of ceramic tableware, especially around cooking and the ritual of seasoning.
I want my pieces to be a strong point in the preparation of the meal, that we take the time to appreciate their craftsmanship in the same way as a good ingredient. They are designed to enhance small gestures such as salting, oiling, squeezing, or enjoying a hot drink.
Each object features a contrast between a raw earthen base and natural-toned glazes. It is important to me that the minimalist and elegant aesthetic makes my collection timeless, and therefore durable.
I founded Tendre Atelier following training in arts and crafts at the Bonsecours Ceramic Center in Montreal, after a career in graphic design. This is why I have a vision of structured and modern design, which is reflected in the creation of functional tableware, while carrying meaning and beauty on a daily basis.
