Trois Petits Points

T.P.P. is utilitarian & unique pottery made in limited quantities, by hand, in Mile End. A graphic designer by profession, this project manifested itself following an inevitable desire to return to manual work and free creation. Bare earths, right angles and neutral colors punctuate my work. My creation process is evolutionary and exploratory, while having a particularly minimalist and timeless character. Soft shapes, symmetry, curves and perfect angles are part of my few beneficial fixations. I often reflect on the fact that this material is permanent, that it has an indelible imprint and therefore I try to have a conscious creative contribution. My work and the way I promote it (small quantities, local and bike delivery, etc.) are part of the slow design movement, wanting to go against growth at all costs and industrial assembly line work. I wish to contribute to a return to local, quality, meaningful and ethical products.
