Witch Victim is a groove-oriented psych band that blends elements of post-punk, motorik beats, and shoegaze guitars to make music that has been described as “krautrock on quaaludes”

“We can’t remember what exactly compelled us to first see Witch Victim at the 2022 edition of Sled Island, but we were hooked from that moment. This five-piece (featuring two members from Bridgeland – the band, maybe also the community?) meld together shoegaze, krautrock and neo-psychedelia into one great delicious dish. Witch Victim’s debut tape is headphone candy, with lush sounds and dreamy vocals floating through the mix. Bonus points for kicking the tape off with an eight-plus minute song that doesn’t outstay its welcome.”
