WEEKEND 8 – FREE
August 25 to 27, 2023

Friday 7-10pm

Yo Dubsta & Pôle Hip-Hop join forces for an evening of hip-hop with Monk.E , Chung and DJ White Socks.

Considered one of the leading figures on the Quebec hip-hop scene, Monk.E has carved out a niche for himself in both prose and urban painting. With 8 hip-hop albums and countless urban art projects under his belt, Monk.E is an ever-evolving humanist artist who will always find the right word or brushstroke to reach out to the World.

Before him, rapper Chung, endorsed by Havoc, Conway the Machine and Roc Marci, will present her latest album, CHUNG SHUI II, produced by Cotola. “Ever the protagonist, Chung is arrogant, yet feminine, introspective and spiritual, all the while staying out of the safe. The album is both nostalgic and avant-garde: a love letter to ’90s hip-hop in its classic form, but firmly rooted in the present, aiming for a better future with a timeless entry in Chung’s expanding catalog.”
