Music-making as Racial Solidarity

Gratuit | Free

This panel discussion moderated by Ari Swan will envision music as a field of interlocking and shared cultural practices in attempt to find avenues into interracial solidarity. How can the act of creating music collectively be a model for interracial solidarity within different liberation movements? More broadly, this discussion will take on the urgent need for racialized groups in the West to find unity around shared goals of dismantling the anti-Black structures that affect us all. This panel is presented in partnership with Peace Days- Peace Network for Social Harmony.
