Call for young songwriters

POP Montréal is looking for eight musicians aged 12 to 18 to play their own songs at a youth showcase on Saturday, September 27, from 2pm to 4pm at P'tit Ours. A real stage, a real festival crowd, your songs.

Originals only — whatever you've been writing at home, in the practice space, on the back of a math test. Everyone selected to play is also invited to a masterclass in the weeks before the festival with Montreal musicians who've been writing and performing around the world.

Send us a recording at info@popmontreal.com by August 20th — the first masterclass happens soon after. Voice memo or GarageBand is fine. We're listening for the song, not the production. Include your name, your age, and the best way to reach you.
