The full POP Montreal 25th anniversary lineup is finally here! The extensive list of performers, musicians, and artists is what makes POP every Montrealer’s favourite fest. Some come to see the legends, others come to see the fresh faces, everyone stays for the magic of independent art and friendship. Follow us to stay in the loop of all things hot and happening. It is time to unveil the full lineup for POP Montreal’s 25th anniversary. We’re bringing back big names and legends from the best of the indie scene.
A Winged Victory for the Sullen: Masters of neoclassical and ambient music, creating cinematic soundscapes of immense beauty.
Luna: the iconic and influential indie rock "band's band" formed in 1991 by singer/guitarist Dean Wareham after the breakup of Galaxie 500. Luna’s setlist will feature their greatest hits alongside some fan-favorite Galaxie 500 songs.
UFFIE: Ed Banger chaos gremlin joins the indie sleaze party crew.
High Vis: A British band merging the raw energy of hardcore punk with post-punk and Britpop melodies.
Chad VanGaalen: Calgary’s beloved folk wizard.
Infinity Song: The New York sibling group returns after last year’s sold out Montreal show.
Les Hay Babies: Acadian singer songwriters trio.
Julie Doiron: A Canadian indie-folk legend.
Sister Nancy: The dancehall queen.
Think About Life: The cult Montreal band returns with all the joyful chaos.
Spencer Krug: The creative force behind Wolf Parade and Sunset Rubdown.
Automatic: A post-punk trio from Los Angeles.
Dune Rats: An Australian surf-punk/garage rock trio.
Hana Stretton: Australian-British composer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
Squirrel Flower: atmospheric and powerful indie-rock with introspective lyrics.
ESPRIT 空想: The instrumental, hazy synth project of vaporwave pioneer George Clanton.
JayaHadADream: British rapper and lyricist on the come up.
René Lussier: Iconic Québécois guitarist and composer.
Towa Bird: British singer-songwriter and guitarist just signed on Interscope Records.
anaiis: unclassifiable Franco-Senegalese songwriter, and musician based in London.
Special Events:
The legendary Divan Orange will come back to life for three special nights, including two with the band Plants & Animals sept 24 and 25 (sold out). The third night, Saturday Sept 26, will bring back the Montreal super band HUSH and introduce Hamilton's breakout act Superstar Crush.

Toujours Ensemble, on Thursday Sept 24, Rialto Hall: Thanya Iyer and Sarah Rossy lead an ensemble reimagining the work of some of Montreal's cherished artists, translating their songs into expansive new arrangements for chamber orchestra and choir
Secret City 20th Anniversary: on Friday, Sept 25 and Saturday Sept 26 at Sala Rossa, a big emotional family reunion for one of Montreal’s defining indie labels featuring Klô Pelgag, Brad Barr, Basia Bulat, Antoine Corriveau, Unessential Oils, La Force, Shad, Bye Parula, Jeremy Dutcher, DJ Montana and more.
Nardwuar the Human Serviette: The world’s most famous interviewer on Friday, Sept 25 at Rialto Theater . His appearances are a mix of chaos, extreme musical erudition, and pure entertainment.
The Kiki Ball "Toons across the board": on Friday, Sept 25 at Rialto Theatre with special guest Infinite Coles
