Vote POP is Back – Call for Participants

Year after year, Montreal’s finest music curators, musicians, professionals, fans, and listeners get together for hours of listening to every band submitted to POP Montreal. Listeners have been warmly invited to join the team in-person between February and June. Voters listen to bands one submission at a time. The artists are either accepted and submitted to the programming team, or invited to try again next year. To participate in in-person voting, RSVP to [email protected].

As of last year, music-lovers can listen to the submission artists from the comfort of their own homes and devices. The process is simple, visit https://vote.popmontreal.com/ and connect to the platform with your email address. Once connected, the website will reveal the submissions one by one. The band name, genre, hometown, and biography provide context for the music. Voters must listen to at least 60 seconds of the audio submission before placing a vote. Participants are invited to listen to as few or as many of the artists as they’d like keeping only one question in mind: Do you think they should play POP Montreal?
