Comedy POP

29 SEPT, 20h00, URSA

Hosted by Eve Parker Finley

With Ben Stager, Jason Harvey, Kě, Sandy El Bitar and Tandem Jump.

What is a comedy show doing in the middle of an indie music festival? We have no idea but it’s no joke. Join us at URSA, aka the Comedy Cellar of Parc Avenue for an evening of left-of-centre stand up, actually good sketch comedy, musical hilarity, and more surprises from a stacked line up of some of the most exciting emerging voices in Canadian comedy. For the comedy curious, the comedy seasoned, and the comedy skeptical.

Don’t Yell

27 SEPT, 20h00, Pony (6534 rue St. Hubert)

29 SEPT, 20h00, Fabergé (25 avenue Fairmount Ouest)

Hosted par Habib Siam

With Carmina Berbari Daou, Morgan O’Shea, Quinn McMorrow, Vance Michel, et plus.

Don’t yell is a series of stand-up comedy shows in unexpected spaces. Brunch spot? Sure. Clothing store with stuffed toys? Yes, please. Touring headliner Habib Siam hosts a different line-up each night. His conversational style makes for an intimate comedy experience where insight and laughter meet. The series kicks off on Friday at Pony, and continues Sunday at Fabergé. Two dates for you to choose from, or better yet, come to both! Shows run roughly 90 mins, but when the laughs are rolling, who knows how long we’ll go.
