The “Reimagining Music Venues” report created by Wavelength noted that 75% of survey respondents consider local music venues at risk of closing and that Toronto venues are experiencing a 13% closure rate. We know that we are facing similar challenges in Montreal and beyond. Live music venues are an essential part of the cultural ecosystem, but what does the future hold for our beloved music venues?
